In the context of transport architecture, Milan Metro is an emblematic case. The project made by Albini-Helg-Noorda team marks a turning point, which is, even with the obvious stylistic changes, the backbone of the most recent actions. The introduction of coordinated image, the standardized typology, the study of the relationship between architecture and user, all materialized in the finest interior design, has been a turning point if compared with the previous architecture, considered, with some rare and specific exceptions, residual.
Years of study and collection of original materials allowed me to get a wide and deep knowledge of the subject and to be able to fully understand both the past things and also the dynamics that lead to the continuous evolution of Milan metro and of similar buildings. I offer my knowledge through targeted advices.
